Blogapalooza Inc. once again proved its title being “the Philippines’ premier influencer marketing company” with Blogafest 2019! The event welcomed more than 2000 attendees from all over the country, marking the highest attendance in the 8-year history of Blogapalooza event!

Blogafest 2019

Blogafest is an annual one-day business-to-influencer networking and marketing event that gathers bloggers, social media influencers, content creators, and internet celebrities from all over the Philippines in a day of fun, learning, interaction, and collaboration.

The Theme

This year’s theme was carnival. I don’t really know why they chose to have a carnival-theme, but I think it was a perfect fit for a 5-star venue with on-stage entertainment and fun-filled activities. The venue was full of colorful decors and inflatables that complemented well the Blogapalooza brand. It created a really cool and extravagant-ish atmosphere with a festive mood of lights, food and exhibit booths. But the real cream of the crop was the superb The Greatest Showman-inspired performance and an aerial dance performance by Elite Aerial Arts that made the crowd rage. It was total fun!

Partners and Brands

With over 50 brands exhibited at the venue, it was a haven for bloggers and content creators to build a network for collaborations and partnerships. Through the years, Blogapalooza was able to build a solid community of thousands of bloggers, social media influencers, and content creators. As a trailblazer in the influencer marketing space, Blogapalooza has built a strong brand that people associate with professionalism, credibility, and expertise.

This year’s Blogafest major partners were City of Dreams Manila (Official Venue Partner), Cebu Pacific (Official Airline Partner), Courier Express (Official Courier Partner), Belmont Hotel,, Savoy Hotel, Nobu Hotel (Official Hotel Partners), GSM Blue (Official Liquor Partner), Sinalco, Vaseline, Cream-o, Dove, Sunsilk, Lotus Biscoff, Blue, AFS, and many more. I was able to able to visit the majority of the booths and experience some of the best of what they can offer. I am just amazed at how they managed to bridge brands to influencers for content creation and affiliate marketing campaigns. Kudos to Blogapalooza team!

Attendees

A whopping 2021 people from all over the country attended this year’s Blogafest ranging as far as from Tuguegarao from north and BARRM in the south. The event was graced with the presence of ultra-high engagement communities/personalities such as Lyqa Maravilla of Team LYQA, JF Escobanez of The Red Whistle, Chris Alarcon of PGAG, Mark Anicas of FTTM, and Tita Belay of Titas of Pageantry, Julianne Soriano of Chuckyhits, and gaming personalities Justin Villaseran “Villsanity”, Ben Joel Naval “Kajo”, RD Rogacion of Overdrive Studios, Jab Escutin of Bren Esports,  Emile Tanglao of Rumble Royale, Vern Bautista of Tier One, Yves Bondoc of CollabAsia and a lot more. DJ vloggers Rico Panyero, Maria Morena, Sexy Megan, and Ganda Wanda of Yes The Best were also present. It was just a surreal moment to meet all these amazing people and learn from each other.

Program

Blogapalooza is not just about fun, fun, and fun. They are also serious on its mission to #ElevateInfluence for a greater good. There were talks, panel discussions, networking opportunities, product showcases, and sponsor exhibits will be taking place, all exclusive for bloggers and social media content creators. I was able to get some valuable insights on content creation, blogging and influencer marketing from the invited guests. The whole day event was hosted by Ms. Hyasmin Neri.

Highlights were the GSM’s Bar 1834’s drinks mixing segment featuring the Kalamansi Surprise, and when Mr Donald Lim of Dentsu Aegis formally announces the launch of the Creator and Influencer Council of the Philippines (CICP) inviting all content creators and influencers in the country to join and build a stronger, and world-class influencing community. And yes, there were awesome performances too. I was lucky to take a snap with The Voice Kids Philippines winner Lyca Gairanod during the after-party.

What’s next?

The whole Bloga community (or we call it Blogafam) has now approximately 9000+ members and will continue to grow more in the following years! Also this year, all three (3) event hashtags made it to the trending topics of the day on Twitter. It’s something to really be proud of. But the real value that BlogaFest offered proved to be more than a cause for celebration. This year’s Bloga event came packed with practical advice and the technical know-how to break ground in the influencer and content creator territory.
