Belmont Hotel Manila Staycation

Belmont Hotel Manila is one of the hotels in Manila that bask in value, comfort, and convenience. It has been recognized as one of the winners of The World Luxury Hotel Awards this year. And last November, I got to stay at this 4-star hotel for two nights for the annual Blogafest 2019!

2 Night Staycation at Belmont Hotel

Located in Newport City, Pasay, Philippines, Belmont Hotel Manila has everything you need for a barkada or family staycation. It is just a 5-minute walk away from Ninoy Aquino International Airport’s Terminal 3 via the Runway Manila footbridge, making it very ideal for those who want to stay near the airport knowing the metro’s horrible traffic.

But despite its close proximity to the airport, you can’t hear any street or construction noise which I like the most. You will also enjoy the scenic view of the Manila skyline as you walk across to the hotel. It is also located near to the major center of entertainment, dining and shopping centre–such as Newport Mall, Newport Performing Arts Theatre, Resorts World Manila, and many more.

We stayed at a Belmont Deluxe room that cost around Php6000 with buffet breakfast, free shuttle service, use of swimming pool and gym, and other complementaries. The room is beautifully appointed, clean and spacious. As an online freelancer/writer, I like how minimalist the room is. It somehow gave me a relax vibes and adequate space to really think and work straight. Aside from the pleasant ambience, guests are also made comfortable with soft towels, utensils, bedroom slippers, robes and toiletries that are replenished every day. They also offer turndown service for free.

The beds are very comfy with warm lighting and a well-regulated aircon. You can actually request for additional pillows if you want. Another cool thing I noticed is that they are Glass Water bottle instead of the usual plastic bottle. I find it really cool and impressive as well.

I also like that they have multiple electrical outlets which are very convenient for me to charge my gadgets before and after our ganaps. The internet was also good. It is very ideal for those freelancers who work online for web browsing or whatsoever.

Before going to the event, we had a sumptuous breakfast at Cafe Belmont which is located at the ground floor of the hotel. We really had a hard time choosing the best food because offer different variety of cuisines (Asian, Continental, American, etc.) of pastries, main course dishes, salads, appetizers, and desserts. Truly a good deal for gourmet diners! Just make sure to have your breakfast early to avoid the long lines. Breakfast starts at 6am to 10am.

There are also various facilities that you can explore at Belmont. The hotel offers luxury facilities such as a roof deck swimming pool with a 360-degree panoramic view of Manila, outdoor jacuzzi, massage deck, kiddie pool, spa, sauna and steam room, and a fully-equipped gym. Check-in guests can use the gym for free.

Belmont review

I can personally tell that Belmont Hotel is really a good place to unwind, staycation or a flight layover. For me, it combines relaxation, leisure, and entertainment all in one. But if you’re feeling skeptical considering your budget, you can actually read for reviews available on their official Facebook Page and website. They also offer special promos and deals, such as discounted room rates and special holiday packages from time to time.
